Meet Megan
FOUNDER + DIRECTOR

Megan is the founder of Starburst Insights. She gets to the heart of what matters for people and brands.
Megan is a research dualist and brand storyteller who thrives on inspiring breakthroughs for clients. Megan’s mix of agency and client-side experience has provided her with a strong platform to creatively solve brand challenges for commercial advantage.
From decoding the new world of premium in beer, revamping retail via shopper profiling, through to taking brand teams to the streets of New York for experiential cultural immersions, Megan has a passion for driving real change and growth.
On the weekend she pats a lot of dogs and eats a lot of plants.

Song is an insight strategist and experienced quantitative and qualitative researcher.
Drawing on years of research experience at both global and local research agencies, Song is a highly skilled research practitioner who thrives on unlocking big-impact insights.
Equally comfortable running complex analysis as she is jamming with clients, Song brings a can-do attitude and big energy to all that she does. A true research MVP, she puts the ‘star’ in Starburst Insights.
On the weekend you will find her flexing her cooking and dancing skills.

Meet Matt
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR,

Matt uses data to identify the who, what, where, when and why of humans and the world around them
Matt is a dualist researcher who brings experience from some of Australia's leading research and insight agencies – including Starburst Insights!
With broad experience across commercial and government organisations Matt regularly tackles complex behavioural challenges for his clients. Armed with data and insights Matt helps brands to identify communication opportunities and other interventions that create, and super-charge behaviour change in all kinds of sectors.
On the weekend you'll find him drinking flat whites and practicing Español.

Meet Kim
STRATEGY DIRECTOR

Kim is a problem solver and super listener. She finds the important nuggets in the most complex of challenges
Kim is a qualitative specialist, although she enjoys the numbers from time to time! Perpetually curious, she is always absorbing new information, whether that be updates in behavioural economics, politics or sports.
Kim has worked on a wide range of topics, from making Australian farming safer to understanding the ice-cream market in India. She loves challenges that require deep thinking!
On the weekend you'll find her listening to podcasts or in the surf – rain or shine!

Tess is your go-to market research pro, with a background in psychology and marketing
Fueled by an unwavering fascination with understanding consumer behaviour, Tess possesses a knack for uncovering intricate patterns within data.
Her discerning eye for detail has led her on a journey across a spectrum of industries, ranging from the realm of beauty to the intricacies of superannuation, and from the complexities of pharmaceuticals to the ever-evolving world of media and content creators.
On the weekend you'll find her running or exploring Melbourne's food scene.

Digby is Head of the Good Boy Department.
Beginning his studies as a Seeing Eye Dog, Digby quickly realised being social and leisurely was his true path in life.
While completely unqualified for his current position, Digby is an integral member of the Starburst Insights team, providing support, welcome distraction and comic relief while also helping team members learn virtues such as patience and temperance.
Digby is highly motivated by treats and shows a keen interest in leaves.
On the weekend he eats, plays, loves.
